Apple expected to increase shipments of iPhone in 2011

According to reported the Digitizes, Apple has increased its target for shipments of phones for the first quarter of 2011 from 19 million units expected initially to about 20 million to 21 million units. It speaks for some time and has not yet been given an official version of the company's Cupertino, but it appears that the expected number of phone also includes 5-6 million CDMA phone.

As you can read the article mentioned, "The set of phone shipments of WCDMA for the first quarter has been adjusted from 13 million units to 14-15 million units, as sources say. The target cost for CDMA phone, which will be available in North America and Asia during the first quarter, is scheduled for 5-6 million pieces. "

The acronym refers to the UMTS WCDMA currently being used by phone 4, but the CDMA phone will be made with a separate model, and that will be compatible with the U.S. network operator Venison and, apparently, with some operators the Far East.

Since this is a rumor, of course, we can not be sure of the veracity of the news. However, for some time about the possible introduction of a new model of phone is compatible with Venison’s network. This model would allow the company run by Steve Jobs to extend its presence in the mobile phone market.

The possible date of submission of this new model would be set for the first quarter of 2011. Specifically, according to the latest rumors, the phone Venison could be presented to the public directly from the phone company's CEO, Ivan Seidenberg, during a keynote to be held on the day of the Epiphany at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.
